SICLEN VALLEY UNIVERSE
Beginnings
Over the course of just two years, a mysterious toxic gas in Earth’s atmosphere caused the almost complete extinction of humanity. About two million people found shelter on the orbital space station called Siclen Valley, the headquarters of what was once the largest IT corporation, SEC. Amid the lifeless void of space, the survivors begin building a new civilization.
THE STATION
THE STATION
Siclen Valley is a near-Earth orbital station, a research center, and the headquarters of SEC, the largest IT corporation of the Old World. Originally Siclen Valley consisted of its main building and the docks for courier spaceships. Later, in the New World, two refugee cities formed on both sides of the station.

ON THE STATION

  • Residence: Docks
    Population: 10,000
Former couriers for Siclen Engines Corporation. In the New World, they are the only people who have access to transport capsules capable of round trips to Earth. Sackers take orders from Station residents and deliver various items from the dangerous desolated planet.
  • Residence:
    Siclen Valley (former SEC headquarters)
    Population: 200,000
Former SEC employees: scientists, researchers, engineers, IT specialists. Techs survive by trading the corporation’s data archives and maintaining the Station’s life support systems.
  • Residence:
Corp Quarters (Top levels of Siclen Valley)
    Population: Less than 100
Former executives and members of the Board of Directors of Siclen Engines Corporation (SEC). Corps still hold major business interests on the Station and seek to regain control, even in a fractured society.
  • Residence: Southern City, Northern City
    Population: Approx. 1,800,000
Refugees from Earth who escaped in self-built ships before the planet became uninhabitable. They built the Southern and Northern Cities near the Station from ship parts and scraps. Seconds make up the majority of the station’s population.

ON EARTH

  • Residence: Main centers in the southern United States and Europe.
Other locations have not been fully identified.
    Population: Undetermined
Groups of survivors, still living on the planet. Many of them formed quasi-religious cults, the most notable being Casti Mentes, the disciples of Pure Knowledge. To survive, Mosses constantly wear filtration masks.
